I ordered due to sustainable material the bags are made of. Fast delivery but very expensive for a small order. I would appreciate an option for lower price delivery for smaller orders. Length of bag advertised is also a bit misleading- once bag is folded out is much shorter, though I might have better anticipated this. Bag itself ok, slightly yellow and strange texture but willing to trade off for environmental advantages.

Thank you taking the time to post a review, we really appreciate your feedback. With regards to delivery charges, this is what our courier company charges us unfortunately, and we do not use other services due to unreliability. The delivery charges are clearly stated across our website, as well as at the point of placing your order so that you can make the decision to continue with your order or not. If you order £65 (excl Vat) or more it is FREE delivery. You mention the size of the bag being confusing - our sizes are very clearly explained on our website, and we also offer a FREE sample service so that you can see the bag and measure it with your product inside before you purchase. May I suggest that you consider this next time if the sizes are not clear to you. Remember the more you fill the bag, the more it will fill out width wise and height. So always test your product in one of our free samples first to make doubly sure you are ordering the right bag. The film, you chose is Natureflex which is made from plant matter and is basically a see-through paper. The yellowish colour and feel of Natureflex is the signature of this 100% compostable film and sets it apart from standard plastic bags. If you don't like the colour then we recommend a recyclable polypropylene bag. We hope this answers all your questions. The Transpack Team

£16.50 for carriage to Northern Ireland for 100 plastic bags is pretty outrageous.

Dear Frankie Thank you for leaving a review. We feel your frustration re courier charges, but unfortunately the courier charge for Northern Ireland is not dictated by ourselves but rather the courier company - that is what they charge. If you were in UK mainland this courier charge would be far less, however the minute your parcel goes to Ireland, islands or basically over water they charge a lot more. The package was not signed for although the delivery driver wrote that I had signed. It was left outside my front door and not delivered to the next door neighbour as indicated if I was not available to receive it.

While I understand the reason/excuse why they gave as to why they will not refund on the polyethene tube I bought which is not suitable for us, I was disappointed at this response

While trans pak despatched the order immediately the very small package was transported by DHL. This delivery was delayed by DHL for three days which meant I waited at home for three days to receive the package. It could have been posted Royal Mail and then put through the letter box

Hi Rosalind - thanks for your review. Having looked into it I can see that we did despatch at the first opportunity. DHL did also deliver within in the 1-3 day timeframe for the standard delivery you chose so unfortunately we don't have any recourse with them. If you need something more quickly in the future we do offer a Priority delivery service which means it will very likely be with you Next Day.

Could have been disasterous, text message said delivery between 2.10 and 3.10pm. parcel was delivered at 11.30am. and I was on the point of going out. No point in delivery times if you don't stick to them.

Hi Raymond - this is unusual, the delivery timings are usually very accurate. Glad it worked out OK though. If you hadn't been there I think DHL would have come back at the allotted time.

Very good customer service, but very disappointed with the quality of the products. The covers are just large plastic bags. I was trying to invest in reusable covers and for the money I paid I was expecting that, but unfortunately it was not the case. I intended to return them, but I am in the middle of moving in the rainy area of Manchester. If you are looking for some strong reusable covers, please avoid! The star is for customer services

Hi Perlene. I'm sorry you weren't happy with these, but we do advertise them as plastic covers to use as dust sheets or to protect items in transit, which is what they are. We don't advertise them as reusable covers, although the heavy duty ones would probably be fine for several uses. Please feel free to return them to us for a refund when you are settled.

Hi Joe. I'm really sorry to hear this. It looks like DPD delayed your parcel at the depot for a day. There isn't a clear explanation so we'll give them a call and find out. If this happens again please get in touch with us as we can intervene straight away and stop this happening. We will refund you the extra you paid for the Next day delivery and drop you a line to let you know its done. Apologies again on behalf of DPD.

When my package arrived it was squashed on one side and when I opened it the bags had all fell together and were badly creased and some folded. This left a fold on the bag. The bags were for face masks that need to look crisp and hygenically clean. I was disappointed as I had to buy a plastic container and go through those that were good and bad. Bags were exactly what I wanted but packaging was really poor.

Hi Kayleigh. The plastic which wraps these bags in easily recyclable. It is there as protection to keep moisture out and ensure the compostable bags arrive in the best condition. If we didn't use plastic there is a danger that moisture would get to them and they would be compromised before getting to our customers.

The order was delivered promptly. The postage was too expensive for such a small light packet. There was no other option for postage. The satin ribbon is not as good a quality as expected. The colour is not as dark as expected, more pinky red than Burgundy. Will need to get the ribbon I am looking for elsewhere.

Dear Linda We are sorry to hear you are unhappy with the cost of postage, which also covers the cost of picking and packing. Orders over £35 include delivery. We offer a free sample service and customers do find this useful when colour and/or quality is important. We are unable to control the colour rendition of individual monitors but do try our hardest to be as accurate as possible. Please return the goods to us for a refund.

Delivery very good but packaging poor, The cardboard tube had nothing much to stop the roll of cellophane coming out of the tube, the layers of film had slid down and were badly crushed. I've lost several meters.

The clear plastic envelopes I ordered were the wrong size! They were only 1mm smaller, width-wise, than was stated, and when I phoned up, Transpack measured one from their stock and confirmed that they indeed were the wrong size. Now, 1mm normally makes little difference but for me, it has made a huge difference when packing an envelope and a *portrait* greeting card into this plastic envelope. It is such a tight squeeze now that it takes about 3 times longer for each card. I was disappointed in Transpack's attitude: the duly sent me one larger plastic envelope to try, which, as I had already thought, looked rediculous. No mention of an apology or suggestion that they would try and get the correct size to me. All they said was "you can return them and buy them from somewhere else if you like" :(

Hi Ross. Thanks for your comments and I'm sorry you weren't happy with the bags this time but as I explained on the phone to you it is impossible to guarantee that these bags will be the same measurements every time. We do state on the cellophane bag pages that measurements can vary by several mm due to manufacturing tolerances. If size is critical to 1mm it would always be better to ask for a sample of the current batch so that you can check the fit. As I also said we are very happy to take them back and refund you as you are not able to use the bags.

The bags are fine, and they arrived the next day, but the way they were packaged left a lot to be desired. The flat cardboard box they were in was sealed with brown tape at both ends so that the bags stuck to the tape. How long have you been in business? Ten minutes?
